About Us
Floral Memory Gardens is conveniently located close to the airport and just minutes from the downtown area, local restaurants, and accommodations in the Southwestern part of Albany, GA
Lush ornamental grasses welcome you to Floral Memory Gardens and a winding drive takes you past each garden. Towering pines and majestic oaks stand proudly over our cemetery. Floral Memory Gardens was started in 1954 and our first burial was in November of that year. The original gardens were Last Supper and Masonic. In 1966, the garden of Parklawn was opened, which is now part of the Masonic garden. In 1969, three new gardens were opened, one of which is for our Veterans, along with Cross and Everlasting Life. In 1976, the garden of Atonement was added, and in 1996 the garden of Praying Hands.
Due to the customer demand for more traditional upright monument sections with slabs and ledgers the Garden of Good Shepard was opened in 2001. We also have a special area for Babyland. For customers who desire above ground burials we offer a 5 story garden mausoleum that is located near the entrance of the cemetery. In addition we can also provide private family mausoleums. Members of several local prominent families are buried here.
Our office is located on the cemetery grounds, and staffed with cemetery professionals with over 21 years of combined experience and an on-site maintenance crew that is dedicated to preserving the beauty of Floral Memory Gardens.
