Located in historic Laurens South Carolina, Forest Lawn Cemetery is a beautiful 24 acre perpetual care cemetery. This location is landscaped with Magnolia, Bradford pears, Maple and Oak trees. The 134 crypt 2 story mausoleum is picturesque set in the side of a hill with an outdoor chapel with kneeling benches where services may be held. The cemetery also has several features including a granite Bible with scriptures from Psalms, 8ft marble statue Jesus, and 10ft marble cross. The cemetery also has some history of its own. Located just behind the office is the Franks-Simmons Cemetery. This section of the cemetery was set aside for soldiers of the Civil War and their spouses. Over 22 of the graves are marked and there are several unmarked graves as well.
