About Us

Forestlawn Gardens was established by James Miller in 1954 as one of the first perpetual care bronze memorial garden cemeteries in the area.   Forestlawn Gardens is located off Interstate I-20, in the valley of the Appalachian foothills, in Anniston, Ala.

Forestlawn Gardens has 11 developed gardens, a mausoleum for both crypt entombments and niches for internments.   Sights are available for private mausoleum entombments.

A candlelight remembrance service is held annually on the first Saturday in December.  The service is held with the help of the Anniston Civitan Club, and all are invited to witness the beautiful transformation of our park into a warmly glowing tribute to those who cannot be with us.   Donations raised from the service are given to charities sponsored by the Civitan Club, including hospice, ARC and cerebral palsy.
