Frederick Memorial Gardens is the largest perpetual care cemetery in Cherokee County, Gaffney, SC. This twenty acre park was established in 1952 as a memoriam to the original owner’s young son Frederick Thorpe Hatcher.

With it’s rolling hills and beautiful mountain views, this memorial park offers several sections including a Veteran’s garden and a beautiful mausoleum chapel. Bronze memorials are flush to the ground complimenting a park like setting.

Our most revered and recognized feature is the goldfish fountain and Trylon that embrace our families past and present. The chimes that play can be heard throughout the park by our visiting families. The Trylon symbolic of the Holy trinity points upwards to eternity through the redemption of Christ and the water of life. Numerous families have shared unique special memories of the fountain, symbolic in their own histories.
