Greenwood Cemetery is located in Lancaster, Pa., and was originally chartered on Sept. 4, 1895. The most striking feature of the cemetery is its historic stone-gated entrance. Constructed by D.M. Rothenberger, an architect, and Kaufman and Kraemer contractors, the gate stands as a remembrance of them, and serves as an elegant entry into the cemetery. Complete with blooming trees and sprawling green lawns, the cemetery emulates the beauty of the gateway, right down to the road that meanders through the grounds.

Our Chapel and Crematorium were constructed in 1884, while our mausoleum was built in 1910. Adorned with two Egyptian structures at the doors, the mausoleum is one of the most attractive elements in our cemetery.

Greenwood offers traditional burials, cremation (although the crematory is no longer in use), a scattering garden, mausoleum and a chapel niche. Greenwood offers a peaceful, comfortable place to memorialize your loved ones forever.
