Highland Cemetery was established in 1914, with the first interment made on Sept 15, 1914. We are located in South Bend, Indiana. Highland Cemetery consists of 114 acres with 70 acres developed. We have one of the first and oldest Community Mausoleums in the area, built in 1930. Today, in addition to the original mausoleum, we offer 3 garden mausoleums and a Chapel mausoleum, along with 4 Private Estates on the grounds. We offer traditional interments in either above-ground granite memorial sections or flush bronze only sections, lawn crypts and mausoleum crypt and niches. Highland Cemetery is located in South Bend and rests comfortably near the St. Joseph River.
