Mt. Zion Cemetery was established in 1873, and is one of the oldest cemeteries in the area. Mt. Zion Cemetery is located in North Coventry Township in Pottstown, Pa and is 20 miles away from the beautiful Valley Forge National Park. The descendants of the Potts family, who are the original founders of Pottstown, are buried here.

The landscape of Mt. Zion is gorgeous, boasting a natural spring, old farm land, rolling hills and 200 year old trees.

For the convenience of our families, we offer a flower program, a pet cemetery so that your loved ones can be near with beloved companions, and a veteran’s garden. Our services include traditional burials, cremation, lawn crypts and mausoleums. We are one of the only cemeteries in the area that offer both upright monuments and flat bronze areas for burial.
