Northlawn Memorial Gardens was established in 1961 and is located in Peninsula, OH. Northlawn borders the Cuyahoga Valley National Park which draws over 100,000 visitors annually that come to ride the Scenic Railroad and enjoy the abundant wildlife.

Northlawn consists of approximately 60 acres and as you enter the cemetery, there is a quaint lake surrounded by flowering ornament trees and a Statue of Christ on the water. A gentle slope leads you to the Garden of Memories Mausoleum, which consists of three phases starting in 1979-1991.

Northlawn offers a full range of cemetery products and property. It has several lawncrypt gardens that offer the driest lawncrypts available, as well as outside niches that are built into the chapel crematory / office building. Northlawn has one community mausoleum and two garden mausoleums, one of which is located directly behind the lake at the entrance.

Northlawn has one small veterans mausoleum and pays homage to veterans every Memorial Day Weeek End. On Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day Week End, Northlawn flies over 450 full size flags on it’s Avenue of Flags. Each flag has been donated to Northlawn by the various widows of veterans interred at Northlawn.
