About Us

634Oaknoll_sign Memorial Gardens of Rome is made up of 3 cemeteries in the historic Rome, GA. Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, Floyd Memory Garden, and Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens were opened for burials in the mid 1950’s. The main office is located at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens 2549 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165.

The view from atop Oaknoll Memorial Gardens is the famous Lavender Mountains running east to west across the county. We also overlook the 30 thousand acre famous Berry College and dairy farm. Three lighted crosses stand atop a 50ft. high section of the cemetery over looking the main entrance. The planned construction of the new Mountain View Mausoleum and the Veterans Gardens will be an excellent addition to this already beautiful cemetery.
