About Us

Ridout’s Forest Crest was purchased from the Drennen Real Estate Co. in 1965 and the cemetery was established in 1967.  It is located on a 60 acre hillside between Irondale and Leeds.

Forest Crest Cemetery sits atop a mountain and has beautiful views of the surrounding areas.   There are two ponds located on the property, and we are located near the Cahaba River.  With the gorgeous views and the peaceful secluded area, the cemetery is also convenient to I-20, but is still located in a woodsy area away from the hustle and bustle of the city.   Forest Crest cemetery’s employees are family-oriented and focus on the needs of our families.

We offer traditional ground  burials, mausoleums, crypt & niches.
