399Roselawn_signRoselawn Burial Park was started in1930 on Dillard’s Farm Land, previously used as a

State Agricultural Experimental Farm.  Roselawn Burial Park was named by Kelsie Jackson Davis, who entered a contest to name the park.

Roselawn has a number of prominent citizens buried here including Thomas B. Stanley, former Governor of Virginia and also the founder of Stanley Furniture Company.  Clay Earles and Henry Lawrence, founders of Martinsville Speedway are also resting here.  Jim Eanes, country music singer, song writer are a few of the prominent citizens buried here.

Roselawn has two sections designated for the Veterans of the United States and Honor those by holding The Memorial Day Service each year.  Two sections are designated for infant burials.
