In 1926 William Hoadley, a local quarry owner, purchased 75 acres for Valhalla Memorial Park. The first burial took place on June 20, 1927.

In the eighty plus years since, Valhalla has added acreage and received over 11,000 of the area’s loved ones. The beautiful rolling landscape of Valhalla Memory Gardens includes twenty-four earthen burial gardens, a chapel mausoleum and five other mausoleum buildings. Valhalla also added a crematory in 2004.

Valhalla Memory Gardens and Crematorium is 50 miles southwest of Indianapolis. The Valhalla Memory Garden has been providing quality grounds and peaceful settings since 1927.
