Windridge Memorial Park and Nature Sanctuary is located off of South Rawson Bridge Road and Crystal Lake Road. Windridge was established in 1965 and prior to being a cemetery was used as a private summer estate by a local family. Windridge is registered as a Nature Sanctuary with the State of Illinois. Lavish trees surround the park making the cemetery a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. We feature a sanctuary lake with a man-made boulder waterfall rolling down one of our many hills. Our mausoleum is made of natural granite fieldstone surrounded by a tower of evergreens. Windridge is a flush memorial park to keep the natural setting stand out. Wildlife is in abundance, from deer, fox and wild turkey. Windridge also offers nature trail burials. In addition we are proud to offer Fawnwoods of Windridge, our pet cemetery, offering families to be interred with their beloved pets.
