226York_signYork Memorial Park, located in Southeast Charlotte, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Charlotte, NC.  Established during World War II, York Memorial Park is the final resting place for many notable Charlotte citizens.

York Memorial Park has beautiful mature trees in many of it’s Gardens, some that bloom with soft pink and lavender blossoms.  Our Mausoleum of Love rests on a landscaped surround with an Angel statue and annually blooming flowers in front. The Park’s tree lined entrance leads to the Mausoleum of Love.

York offers Mausoleum, lawn crypts (will be available by early spring in the new

Garden of Grace), and traditional ground burial. Although York does not have a cremation garden, we are able to place cremation burials near or directly under most of our lovely trees in a traditional burial space.

York Memorial Park rests peacefully in Charlotte, North Carolina. York Memorial Park has been providing peaceful and tranquil grounds since World War II. If you are looking for a Mecklenburg County cemetery, Charlotte cemetery, or Belmont cemetery then York Memorial Park would be a logical choice.
